Agriculture, vine-growing and breeding play a very important role in the Hungarian economy. Hungary is self-sufficient for almost all the soil products, it exports a quarter of its harvest. However, the sector remains very unsettled because of the questioning of the structures and the liberalization of prices and exchanges.
