WELCOME
http://fita.org
Here's your latest
issue of Really Useful Sites for the International Trade
Professional. This free bi-weekly newsletter reviews
useful Web sites from the Web Resources database at
FITA's International Trade/
Import-Export Portal at http://fita.org, an excellent
source for trade leads, news, events, and a link library
of 7,000+ sites related to international trade.
Please feel free to pass this newsletter on to others.
My name is John McDonnell, and for years I wrote a weekly
e- newsletter that profiled business-oriented Web sites.
Now I'm using my Web research skills to find sites that
are useful for international trade, as well as some
fun sites that you'll enjoy visiting.

WORLD TAXES
http://www.taxresources.com/html/taxsite...
On the subject
of taxes, I agree with the humorist P.J. O' Rourke,
who said, "Giving money and power to government is like
giving whiskey and car keys to teenage boys." However,
since taxes are not going away anytime soon, it's important
for people like you and me to stay up to date with them.
If you do international trade, there's a site that will
help you find international tax information on the Web.
It's called World
Tax at www.taxresources.com/html/taxsites/foreign.html.
It has links to the major free tax resources of each
country. Just scroll down the page, select a country,
and you'll get a list of resources for its tax system.

Are your prospects part of the international trade
community? If so, here's an opportunity to showcase
your service or product to 50,000 subscribers of Really
Useful Sites for the International Trade Professional.
FITA now offers limited sponsorship opportunities to
selected organizations. For information, please contact
Barney Lehrer, Director of eCommerce Development at
webmaster@fita.org
or 1-800-969-FITA extension 4.

INTERNET TIPS AND SECRETS
http://www.internet-tips.net/index.html
If you think a
browser is simply a shopper who can't make up his mind,
and you think a Ringmaster has something to do with
the circus, you need to visit Internet
Tips and Secrets at www.internet-tips.net/index.html,
where you'll find that these terms and others have a
meaning on the Internet. This site explains the basics
about getting around the Web, creating Web sites, finding
information, and other topics in an easy-to- understand
fashion.
